5K (3.1 Miles) 22Min 40Sec

This last Saturday, I ran my first half Marathon. As you can see from the title 5K is 3.1 Miles and I ran it in 22 Min and 40 Sec. The winner ran it in 17 Min so I believe that I did well for it being my first time. I told my co-workers that I was going to run in the marathon and they asked "W..H..Y..?" I would tell them just because, so I could say that I have run in a Marathon. I would look at the 13 Article of Faith:

“13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.” (Joseph Smith)

The part that I would like to reference is: "We hope all things, We endure many thing, and HOPE TO BE ABLE TO ENDURE ALL THINGS." I would have to say that running a ½ Marathon would be considered one of those "ENDURE ALL THINGS." Really in was not that bad, in fact I had a good time running and seeing where I can improve for the next one. Here are some picture of my running and finishing the Marathon. Just so you will have some proof that I really did run in a Marathon.
