Levi starting school

We did the first day of school, and it was so much fun! I helped him with his "homework" and read lots of stories to him. The next morning, early, 6am early, he woke me up with, "Mommy, I want to do my homework!" "Oh, child, ok, let me wake up first and then we'll do your homework." So I woke myself up, we read some more stories, and we did some more homework. He loves it! Of course, we have had a bad so far, but who doesn't? We have a vocabulary word that he has to learn every week. This week is attentiveness. Kind of a big word for a 3 year old, huh? I hear him telling himself all through the house, "I listen with my eyes, ears and heart." Although, most of the time all I hear is "isten, ears, heart, eyes." Ha! But at least he's getting something out of it all!!!

Even Sariah joins in and listens to all the stories. Boy does that girl like books! I could read to her all day and she wouldn't care! All the while, little Stacy is bouncing in her jumper excited that everyone has so much energy to play with her! I think she likes the stories too, but that a biased opinion, I'm sure.

Our bigger project is getting an alphabet train colored, cut out, and taped around our "school room." Levi sure does like trains! Him and Casey Jones would've been good friends! He loves that story!! Always finding ways to reenact it, especially the crashing part! Go figure!

We can't wait for Christmas, and wish we were all home with family. We are, however, hoping to enjoy our last Misawa wintry Christmas!
